The department of computer science and applications was started in 2009 with a vision to prepare young women for the many opportunities in the field of computers. Exposure to all areas of computer science is needed to face the challenges posed by technological advancements. The department of computer science and applications offers undergraduate programme from 2009.And postgraduate programme from 2012.The strength of the department is a dedicated team a qualified, experienced and dynamic faculty who strive relentlessly to achieve an enviable record of academic excellence. Seminars, workshops, technical symposiums, value based programmers’ and skill based activities are organized every year to transform students into holistic individuals who can combine academic expertise with creative energies to forge their way forward and get an edge over their peers. The department comprises of 6 dedicated faculties who are responsible for betterment of all students. Innovative teaching techniques and modernized syllabi are the tools that make our vision come true.
Objectives
To teach the students to understand the applications of computer used in day to day life and motivate them for specialization through higher studies.
To train encourage and motivate the students to secure more hands-on skill and to achieve cent percent results.
To enthuse students to attend the college regularly and achieve cent percent attendance.
To expose the students to higher learning through periodical exposure to guest lectures, seminar and industrial visit.
To help the student gain expertise in current information technology areas, primarily web and communication technologies, without compromising on core fundamentals.
