The Inspiration
Sri Ramakrishna said in the course of his numerous teachings to his disciples that Jiva Seva is Shiva Seva. Service to Human being is service to God.
Swami Vivekananda said that unless Women are educated and given a place of honour, the country cannot achieve greatness.
Track record of service
Swami Atmananda, disciple of Swami Chidbhavananda has track record of Service to women. In Karur he developed a large complex of schools, colleges and hostels exclusively for women. After transferring the responsibility for this complex to another organization, he has been running a number of institutions exclusively for women in Devakkotai, Coimbatore, Karaikudi and Ramanad.
